As we enter 2026, the global Church is being called to recover a clearer understanding of apostolic advancement. In a world that often measures progress by size, speed, or visibility, Scripture points us in a different direction. True apostolic advancement is not built on human wisdom, strategy, or persuasion, but on obedience to God and the demonstrated power of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:1–5).
A Pentecostal Calling to Be Sent
This understanding is deeply woven into Pentecostal identity. The Spirit empowers the Church not to settle, but to be sent across cultures, borders, and generations.
Acts 1:8 as Our First Principle
Acts 1:8 remains our guiding framework: faithfulness where we are, responsibility beyond ourselves, and witness to the nations, held together by the power of the Holy Spirit. Apostolic advancement begins locally with obedience, extends regionally through shared responsibility, and finds its fullest expression globally as the Church moves in the Spirit’s power.
A Season of Alignment, Not Retreat
In 2026, we step into this calling with expectation. This is not a season driven by pressure to produce results, but a season of alignment, listening carefully to the Spirit, stewarding faithfully what has been entrusted to us, and moving forward with courage and humility. God is opening doors for deeper unity, renewed collaboration, and lasting fruit.
Moving Forward in the Power of the Spirit
May this year be marked not merely by expansion, but by obedience; not merely by activity, but by sending; and not by human strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit at work through His Church.
